analytical engine

Babidžo analitinė mašina statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Pirmoji universali mechaninė skaičiavimo mašina. Analitinę skaičiavimo mašiną ir kompiuterių konstravimo principus sukūrė Kembridžo universiteto profesorius Čarlzas Babidžas (Charles Babbage, 1791–1871). Naudojantis 1822 m. pagamintu modeliu buvo skaičiuojamos antrosios eilės daugianarių reikšmės aštuonių ženklų po kablelio tikslumu. Visa mašina dėl lėšų trūkumo nebuvo užbaigta. Nedidelė veikianti mašinos dalis ir keletas brėžinių 1843 m. buvo atiduoti vienam Londono muziejui (dabar saugoma Mokslų muziejuje Londone). Paveiksle pateiktas Č. Babidžo analitinės mašinos projektas (eksponuojamas Mokslų muziejuje). Iliustraciją žr. priede. priedas(-ai) Grafinis formatas atitikmenys: angl. analytical engine; difference engine
